About me
My passion for massage and bodywork sprung from a single massage session I received in 1996 while on vacation in Paris, France. I left the treatment room walking on what felt like three feet above the ground! I was revived, revitalized and invogorated. My first thought was:"I would love to be able to make people feel this way!" Upon my return to Cyprus, my journey into the vast world of alternative medicine begun with getting a certification in Reiki and then moving to the US and graduating from a fully accredited massage school in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After obtaining National certification in therapeutic massage and bodywork, I traveled to Denver, Colorado, where I was able to practice and expand my newly acquired skills by working in well established wellness center. Always having in mind my desire for making a positive change in other people's lives, I kept expanding and refining my knowledge by pursuing education in Aston Therapeutics, Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Ayurveda Bodywork, Craniosacral Therapy,Aromatherapy, Medical Massage and Spa Body Treatments. My biggest passion is Prenatal Massage, which I started and got certified for during my daughter's pregnancy. In my work I combine all these different techniques to create a unique experience for each and every client, depending on their needs at the time and desired outcomes. Having settled in New Jersey, I've been fortunate to start my own practice and have a steady follow-up clientele. Through continous studies and experience, I remain dedicated to bringing my clients all the benefits of massage and bodywork.
